stephontherun:

Pretty rad weekend with David (livetheoutdoors here on Tumblr) and his wonderful girlfriend who were kind enough to give my friend and I a place to crash (on very short notice no less!), tour of the city, and intro to whitewater. Yeeeah!

(More photos to go through when I am more awake than I feel currently).

Steph was kind enough to come on down to Pittsburgh and hang out for the weekend! We toured the city, feasted on local cuisine, and topped off the weekend with a whitewater rafting trip on the Class III-IV Youghiogheny River at 4.8 feet (well into flood stage)!

Going off the grid! Roadtripping to the New River for climbing, kayaking, rafting, and hiking.

This is gonna be a stellar weekend. 70s during the day, 40s at night. World-class climbing all day Saturday, then the river’s running well, gonna take some newbies down in the raft on Sunday.

Going off the grid! It’s the best place to be.

My buddy Callum (electronic-psychedelic) rocking an awesome shirt.

…How much dub would a dubstep step if a dubstep could step dub?

New pendant came today! It’s the molecular structure of epinephrine, also known as adrenaline. Perfectly fits my approach to life.
The one necklace is hemp, the other paracord. Made both myself.

I want one. Simultaneously terrifying and insanely awesome.

Delta7 Arantix frame.

This is so much win.

80 years old and he can still ride like the wind. I want to grow old like Mr. Goodenough. yes, that’s his real name.

Another Youghiogheny guide photo, this one from August 2010. My passengers had never been rafting before, so I took them over Cucumber backwards.
