Came across a SAR/MedEvac team. I couldn’t tell if they were drilling or if someone was actually hurt, but we didn’t want to get in their way so we moved on. Being WFR trained myself, I know how annoying, distracting and stressful it can be to have people standing around watching.

I didn’t have a wide enough angle lens, but there was a full double rainbow arcing 180 degrees across the sky.

These are not formed by wind erosion like the arches are, but rather undercut by streams and eroded by water.

You can see the road zigzag and curve up, around, and over the ancient dunes, now turned to rock. It was a fun road to drive.
